Belgrade fortress is one of the main symbols of the city. It is located above the confluence of the Sava and Danube and gives a spectacular view of the two rivers as well as of the whole city. It was built and destroyed many times through centuries as a result of wars. It is divided into an Upper and Lower town, where you can find a variety of museums, galleries, monuments and also Belgrade Zoo.
Skadarlija was built in the first half of 19th century, and, since then, it has been known as a bohemian quarter. It has always been a place where artists, poets, painters and actors would gather, therefore it is often compared to Montmartre in Paris. Many traditional taverns, art galleries and souvenir shops will take you back through history and will stay in your memory.
This is the biggest pedestrian and shopping zone in the city centre. One of the oldest and most important street of Belgrade which connects old cultural monuments with beautiful buildings full of modern cafes, restaurants and luxurious brands.
The biggest Orthodox Church in Balkans is situated in part of Belgrade called Vracar. Its construction started in 1935, but, due to many interruptions, it was finally finished in 2017. Interior adaptations are still in progress.
Founded in 1952, it is the only museum which holds Tesla’s personal and original belongings. Thanks to his nephew, those were brought from America and are now a part of the exhibition. Apart from personal items, you will be able to see many of his instruments and objects, work documentation, photos and technical equipment.

This is the largest swimming lake which is located only 5km from the city centre. Apart from water sports, there are over fifty open areas for all kinds of sports and almost 8km long path along the Sava Lake, ideal for walking and cycling. After recreation, you can relax and have a drink in one of many cafes or restaurants on the coast of the lake.
